Energi works with universities, colleges, schools & PLT's to develop their green agendas. Primarily this involves working within the organisation and with professionals such as architects and M&E contractors planning long term projects.

We can however react very quickly to your needs.  Typically this will involve a proposal document being produced with a carbon reduction target.  This involves evaluating your current energy consumption and providing a detailed proposal about how it can be reduced and at what cost.  Current grant availability is then assessed and the client then has a complete picture of the opportunities available.

 
 
  • Work within this sector currently qualifies for 50 % grants under the low carbon buildings programme. Larger projects have also been able to attract funding from the higher education funding council, under their transformational fund.

  • All projects are fitted with public display monitors which can be used as part of student education programmes on green issues. Outputs can be linked to the institutions web site in order to provide information on carbon savings, output data and financial savings in real time.

  • Energi have the expertise to link the output from the chosen renewable technology into the BMS in many instances and also offer internet monitoring of the system performance providing a further  educational element and useful tool for energy management.
