Our Services
We offer a full turnkey service to ensure all areas of your Solar PV installation are dealt with correctly and efficiently. Our customer service is our main focus and we aim to make all stages of the process run as smoothly as possible. From initial consultation stage through to full installation and commissioning, Energi are always on-hand to offer full guidance and advice.
Consultation Stage
The consultation stage is crucial as it enables us to identify the specific needs of our clients and clarify any legislative C02 or energy targets that are to be met. We can survey relevant buildings and monitor their energy consumption, to determine which Solar PV solution will work most effectively. Provisions for plans for new build projects, or a site visit for retrofit projects, enable our system designers to provide a professional consultancy service which allows clients to assess the benefits of Solar PV in advance of the project.
Pre-Tender Pricing
Our experience in the new-build sector makes us experts in delivering Solar PV solutions to meet level 3 and above of the Code for Sustainable Homes, for both traditional and timber-frame construction. We can provide guideline specifications and pricing to meet all legislative requirements, even where preliminary SAP’s have yet to be completed. This is also coupled with ROI information for clients and landlords
Project Proposal
Once all relevant information has been collated by Energi, we will provide a comprehensive project proposal. Our detailed proposals summarise all aspects of the Solar PV system, with a detailed description of system sizing, power outputs, C02 savings, weights and wind loading. We also provide CAD drawings of the roof with module layout and mounting system, inverter specification, performance analysis, schematic drawings, payback and ROI analysis
Design
Once we can proceed with the project, concluding design elements are finalised. This may involve providing revised loading calculations, relocating modules (for example where additional vent pipes are included) within the build, details of roof alterations such as the widening of trusses for roof hook mounting and confirming inverter layout and cable runs. DNO applications to connect systems to the grid are also made by Energi at this stage.
Installation
Our expert team of installers provide a through and complete fitting service to ensure all aspects of the installation are conducted correctly. We focus on quality control and our commitment to quality is our key emphasis. For example, we check every Solar PV module or tile is tested at the point of fixing to ensure performance levels.
Commissioning
Once power is available to the building, Energi will ensure full system testing commissioning and a handover take place with the client or landlord. This may involve a walk-through of the building and a full run-through of all the operational aspects. Energi also assist with ensuring that feed-in-tariff claim is as simple as possible with many systems featuring Ofgen approved remote generation meters. This eliminates the need for landlords or multiple system owners to access the property every quarter to record meter readings.
Monitoring
Energi offer a wide range of display screens and monitoring systems, to allow both the public and the building owner to view energy production and relevant data. Options include visually attractive performance data and C02 saving information, generally placed in reception or foyer areas on a plasma TV screen. Our range of monitoring systems can be standard GSM remote generation meters to full bespoke system monitoring. Live internet monitoring is also available which can include details such as real-time energy generation and email notifications of system performance.
